The project, part of Guinea Bissau's Strategic and Operational Plan for 2015-2020, aimed at reducing the daily number of electricity outages reduce the rate of overall losses of electricity strengthen the commercial management and governance of the National Society of Electricity and Water Corporation (EAGB). The project has targeted 41000 beneficiaries and Bissau residents who will benefit from electricity access and public lighting.
