Background

With the new recycle industries, that have been established, empty water sachets that were considered worthless have now generated value. Because recycle companies have begun to buy back empty sachets, the once worthless sachets lining the streets could be gathered and exchanged for Cedis, translating into money. As a result, street pickers have now begun collecting the empty sachets, curbing the number of inappropriately discarded sachets.
