This project was implemented to link sanitation and hygiene (Urban waste management) to urban agriculture in different forms, focusing in Dire Dawa city in order to make the city a centre for learning for East Hararghe project woredas. It includes action research, learning and practice alliance on waste management and urban agriculture, demonstration and capacity building activities.
