Ethiopia's Urban Productive Safety Net Project is formed to help the poorest 12% of population in the 11 selected cities for the program. It delivers social transfers in combination with livelihood support with the long-term aim of ameliorating conditions for people. The livelihood support focuses to diversify and improve household income in the long run and the public works focuses to provide community assets and deliver services.
