The Sustainable Land Management (SLM) work started in 5 villages with the aim of scaling up the project to the remaining villages. The initial phase focused on creating awareness on environmental issues and the SLM concept. The most significant aspect of this project is land distribution and the securitisation of land tenure, leading to greater long-term investments on land through practices increasing the productivity and value of the land.
