In the short term, 'Energie de l'Ituri' aiming to produce 15 MW of electricity from renewable sources (4 MW from solar power plants and 11 MW from hydroelectric facilities). It has drawn on the province’s enormous potential in terms of solar and hydraulic energy to enable the continued electrification for the population and local industries.
