The 'Coopérative Maraîchers de Femmes Unies d'Uvira/Coomafu KIVU' is a cooperative of market gardeners that promotes the sourcing of local food. The cooperative has allowed the members to support each other with the administrative organisation, get practical training, extracting and proving seeds for futures production and the establishment of a the mutual fund as a response to the COVID-19 crisis.
