TUUNGANE is a cooperative run by women in the territory of Uvira, South Kivu. It aims at revitalising the production and processing of coffee in the area, hence improving the revenues of farmers, especially women. Within this context, TUUNGANE has received support from the Swiss cooperation for the installation of a hydro power plant of 2 MW on the river of Lubumba, village of Ndolera.
