The objective of this project is to help open up the Bandundu and Kasaï Provinces. Its specific objective is to improve the service level of transport and improve the living conditions of people in the project area. The project has achieved the construction and paving of urban roads and rehabilitation of rural roads, rehabilitation of schools and health centres, a reduction of vehicle maintenance costs and a reduction in unemployment.
