Several women make a living from selling in small markets of the neighbourhoods. However, they are often forced to stop selling early because of a lack of access to lighting. To solve this problem, the Mudekereza Namegabe foundation has installed projector lamps on in the district of Ibanda. At the same time, the foundation and local residents have planted trees in order to fight against erosion and landslides.
