The project involved providing pay-as-you-go solar power to millions of people in the Democratic Republic of Congo. BBOXX provided basic kits to customers comprising panels, a radio, a battery and several appliances, including larger systems to power households and small offices in urban/semi-urban areas. The project has already electrified 3,000 households and launched further partnerships for a new solar mini-grid project to help accelerate clean energy access for households.
