Recent efforts to accelerate the adoption of renewables through financing for the installation of three solar projects. This has encouraged future financing for complementary technical assistance so that green mini-grids are scaled up across the country. The mini-grids are envisaged to provide access to clean and affordable energy to approximately 150 000 people, whilst reducing emissions of 560 000 tons of Carbon over 20 years.
