Focused on the theme "State of play, management and impact of electricity on industry and sustainable development", the first forum on electrical energy in the DRC was an opportunity offered to actors to reflect on the best solutions for the increase of the electricity supply rate in the DRC. Recommendations focused on moving towards renewable solutions that pose less threat towards the longevity of forests, such as hydroelectric power.
