The project was created to promote the social customs of diligence and thrift, a strong atmosphere of energy conservation and low carbon in the whole society known as ''green development, energy saving first''. The Municipal Energy Conservation Service Centre and key energy-consuming enterprises produced more than 20 publicity boards, hung energy-saving banners and posters around the square, and patiently explained the importance of green and low-carbon activities.
