In 2010, together with the NGO Africa-EDUSA, 100 rocket stoves manufactured in South Africa were introduced in Loum Chantiers neighbourhood. The project offered large improved stoves to eight institutions. In these centres where food for many people is prepared, solar cookers do not work and more powerful tools are required. The positive impacts of these stoves are that they emit 85% less emissions.
