The main objective of CAMTRACC is to involve traditional rulers in decision-making spheres due to their indigenous knowledge of the land to stop the constant destruction of the climate. The project aimed at using traditional instruments to guard against the devastating nature of climate change which affects the society at different levels. By involving traditional leaders in decision forums, restoration activities within communities gain traction and are better mobilised.
