This project led by KETURA ASSOCIATION is carbonizing the various sources of biomass available in the region (cotton stalks, shea shells, cashew shells, sawdust, grass, straw, corn cobs, etc.). The product burns very well without smoke, whilst not carcinogenic. It was accepted by the housewives who received samples to be tested. In the coming years, it is planned to acquire generators to ensure the manufacturing of bio-char at carbonization sites
