The Green Corridors (Trames Vertes) of Bobo-Dioulasso were chosen be implemented to face the impacts of climate change. Their function is to restore, protect and manage biodiversity in situ, by promoting the self-maintenance and the living conditions necessary for the survival of species. The development project has targeted reducing temperatures and greenhouse gas emissions and improving the resilience of populations through increased income and the diversification of food sources.
