In Bobo-Dioulasso, work has been ongoing to identify key vulnerabilities, and to develop appropriate adaptation responses over the short and long term that will emerge from new institutional arrangements. Workshops with local stakeholders, a survey of 120 members of the wider public focused particularly on women, interviews with urban intermediaries and public forums across three districts of the city have been key in identifying climate-related effects for urban dwellers.
