Background

The government radio station RTB2 operates around Bobo‐Dioulasso and broadcasts in French about regional issues, including climate change adaptation. Local radio stations have been shown to be effective means of public communication. Positive results include the dissemination of information related to climate change focusing on tree-cutting, bushfires and unpredictable rain, strengthening the perception of global warming as a local problem which can be tackled with local solutions.
