The project has aimed to contribute to the eradication of extreme poverty among local populations through alternative income-generating activities, improvement of access to basic services in education, water and sanitation and carrying out education programmes on environment and community management of natural resources. The success of the project is noticeable on several levels through the strengthening of natural capital, human capital, social capital and physical capital.
