The UFADD unites and coordinates 56 women-led associations working in food production and food-processing. It centralises the resources and earnings and redistributes them to the members. This system also provides members with materials, safety gears and leadership training programmes. This benefits about 672 women and their children (about 12 women per association) and allows them to be financially independent whilst using and building a local network of food production.
