This project aimed at reducing the level of water production losses (leakages, non-revenue water) from 26% in 2014 to 20% in 2020 so as to boost the viability and sustainability of services provided by the Benin National Water Corporation (SONEB) and provide rates that facilitate access to water services for low-income households. By boosting water continuity and availability, the project helped to improve resilience to climate change.
