To adapt to climate change, African farmers have devised new farming techniques and adopted short-cycle plant varieties using their own experiences and observations. Among the conclusions presented during a workshop by 'Ouémé 2025', water resources are sufficient but will continue to require management. Jean-Baptiste Vodonou expressed that he is considering creating an observatory of water resource use and further research to understand wider socioeconomic aspects of water use.
