The project centres around the rehabilitation of six 2 MW Wartsila thermal generation units at Parakou. The goal of this Compact is to reduce poverty through economic growth in Benin (the “Compact Goal”). MCC’s assistance will be provided in a manner that strengthens good governance, economic freedom and investments in the people of Benin.
