The project aimed at increasing access to electricity through renewables, promoting clean air cooking solutions for household energy consumption, energy efficient lighting in areas like Bogra and sector technical assistance in disposing/recycling of Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CLFs). The project has resulted in millions having access to renewable energy, an access increase to electricity of 12% nationwide, installation of 1,130 solar irrigation pumps and installation of 26 solar mini-grids providing electricity.
