As part of the national "Bangladesh Power Energy Efficiency" project,the natural gas-fired power plant in Sylhet will be combined from open-cycle to combined-cycle operation, projected to continuously meet electricity demands in the eastern region of Bangladesh. The plant's upgraded CCPP technology allows for reduced emissions while ensuring higher thermal efficiency.
