The project is a community based initiative to raise awareness and ensure preservation of natural water resources through sustainable drainage systems that will help eradicate water-logging in the city of Sylhet. Key results include a reduction of water-logging areas, education and awareness programs targeting the eradication of garbage and solid waste, cleaner water supply and a reduction of disruption to transport and utility services.
