A water pipeline of length 5,360 meters is being constructed to transport water from Sitra wastewater treatment plant to agricultural areas around the city. The project envisages that the water can be recycled in a safe way despite it not being safe for drinking. The long term aim of this project is to ensure the sustainability of water supplies in the country.
