Between 2015 and 2017, UNDP and the government implemented a project to respond to some of the government’s priorities in advancing the Disaster Risk Management in the country. With this initiative, they wanted to implement the National Plan for Preparedness, Contingency, Response and Recovery at provincial level, whilst improve hazard and risk information at national level. Further, the project reinforced sectorial involvement in disaster risk reduction.
