The construction of the new wastewater stations is part of the Master Plan for Institutional Development of the Water and Sanitation Company of Uíge. The ten-year project includes 13 districts and outlying districts in the municipality of Uíge considered to be more endemic, where there is no sewage network and an alarmingly unsanitary degree. For the first phase, four main points have already been identified for constructing the new stations.
