WSIDP was designed to support institutional reforms and capacity development whilst expand access to services to historically underserved populations. The project has succeeded in addressing gender disparities, institutional strengthening, mobilising private sector financing and contributed to poverty reduction. In Uíge, the implementation focused on water production (including the construction of water collection and treatment plants, raw and treated water supply and water distribution networks).
