A 50 MW solar power plant is being built since 2020 to contribute (along with a thermal power plant project) to the increase energy production in the city to 400 megawatts, against the current 150.7 megawatts. The province's electrification project will cover the construction of transmission and distribution networks, with household connections, which in his view, potentially solving the problem of energy and industrialization in the region.
