Following the implementation of the drought emergency plan in southern Angola, the government plans to launch drinking water projects across the country. The livelihood project in Angola undertaken in 2019, has given local people hope of fighting drought and drinking clean water. The project will eliminate the need for people to wait in line to buy water and will also create 400 jobs for around 6,000 people.
