To distribute energy, impute from other projects (E.g., Hydro power from Namibe and Arimba thermal power station), the government built two power substations to improve the city's energy supply. The project benefits over 51.000 people, with the project aiming to reduce inequality between urban and rural populations through access to social infrastructure, energy and equipment, and consequently the quality of life and education.
