Lubango solar plant is a private initiative to build (initially) 35 MW solar capacity by the consortium between the independent Power producer Total Eren and the national company Angola Environment Technology (Greentech). This project intends to contribute to installing 800 MW renewable energy capacity in the country by 2025. The energy produced will supply the national network.
