Even though Angola is an oil-producing country, the potential for renewable energy is significant. Being an environmentally friendly technology, the project will serve as an example for the expansion of this technology locally and nationally. The production of renewable energy and the dispatching of the entire production to the Angolan electrical system will not only reduce emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) but mitigate local pollution caused from burning fossil fuels.
