The project has prioritised strengthening the resilience of rural livelihood to manage climate change-induced disaster risks. Communities in priority project sites have been consulted and will actively be engaged in project implementation via a "learning-by-doing" approach. Importantly, socio-economic benefits are clear and compelling, including benefits for women and vulnerable farmers through further economic diversification initiatives.
